Are you a West Virginia artisan interested in sharing your work with visitors from across the country and around the world? Tamarack Marketplace is always looking for talented makers and artists to join our community of juried artisans.
Our jury process gives artisans an opportunity to introduce their work to our team and explore opportunities to sell and exhibit their creations at Tamarack Marketplace.
Start With an Online Application
The first step is completing our online artisan application. Applications are reviewed before each quarterly in-person jury session, with a submission deadline for each session to give our team time to prepare.
After your online application is reviewed, you’ll either advance to the next stage or receive feedback and suggestions that may help strengthen your application before applying again.
Attend an In-Person Jury Session
If your online submission is approved, you’ll be invited to participate in an upcoming in-person jury session.
This is an opportunity for our team to see your work in person, learn more about what you create, and discuss how your work may fit within Tamarack Marketplace.
Opportunities for Juried Artisans
Becoming a juried artisan gives you the opportunity to sell your work on the Tamarack Marketplace retail floor and submit your work for consideration in exhibitions at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery.
We review your work together and discuss whether a wholesale or consignment relationship is the best fit for your work.
Quality Over Quantity
You don’t have to produce hundreds of pieces to become a juried artisan, what matters is the quality and craftsmanship behind what you create. Whether you create one exceptional piece or one hundred, we welcome your work.
Our goal is to showcase the very best of West Virginia craftsmanship and introduce that work to visitors from throughout the United States and around the world.
