A native of the Finger Lakes Region, Cindy Whitlock has called West Virginia home since she was a journalism student at West Virginia University in the 70s. In her long and illustrious career in public relations, Cindy has gained professional experience in a variety of fields such as education, telecommunications, health care, business advocacy and business ownership. For the past nine years, Cindy has used her considerable experience to the benefit of Tamarack as the Director of Marketing - a position that has been a life-long dream. Cindy, a loving wife and mother of two, is a committed worker and volunteer for her community; she has served as the chair for the Fayette County Red Cross, Rotary Club, Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, Women's Resource Center, Quota Club, Oak Hill Swim Club and many others. Cindy has also served as a Board member for the United Way, Southern WV CVB, Fayette County Youth Soccer and the New River Health Assoc., as well as being a dedicated advocate for breast cancer and domestic violence awareness. Tamarack is fortunate to have an enthusiastic Marketing Director like Cindy, who brings years of hard work and dedication to the table, in an effort to communicate the goals and vision of Tamarack throughout the state of West Virginia.
