Special Gallery Exhibition

The Best of West Virginia
 A Juried Exhibition

The Tamarack Foundation and Tamarack's David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery welcome you to a special juried exhibition that will focus on the Best of West Virginia.  The gallery show will run from June 20 through August 3, 2008. The opening will be held in the David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery on West Virginia Day, Friday, June 20, 2008, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. 
 
This show is open to all media, including fine art, sculpture, glass, wood, pottery, basketry, metal, leather, furniture, jewelry, textiles and mixed media.  Those who have juried into the show have the opportunity to compete for the following awards: Best of Show - $2,000; Second Place - $1,000; Third Place - $500; and two Merit Awards - $250 each.  Major awards are sponsored by David L. and Linda Dickirson through a gift to the Tamarack Foundation. 

This special exhibition is open to all artists who reside in the state of West Virginia. The work is not required to be West Virginia-themed.

All work sold by the Gallery in on a consignment basis with a commission split of 40% to Tamarack and 60% to the artist.
