Patricia (Trish) began her singing career at the age of 6 at the Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Jenkinjones. Her Aunt, the late Izetta Holloway, started a family singing group when Trish was about nine. They sang in local churches throughout the county for about three years. By age 16 she was directing the choir and receiving request to sing solos. In 1993 she had the honor of singing for the late West Virginia Senator Robert C. Byrd during a dedication service for a new health clinic where he also sang a solo with her, “Amazing Grace”.
Her first gospel recording in 1994 “When I See Jesus” was a huge success. She has been honored to sing at minor leagues baseball games, culture and heritage festivals throughout WV, the Princeton Health Nursing Home, the Fall Gospel Classic sponsored by Artist Luther Barnes, and the National Quartet Convention in Birmingham, Al, Elder George Stewart, founder and open for National Recording Artist Eddie Ruth Bradford.
Trish has a new project entitled “Use Me.” It was debut on October 1, 2011 where over 200 CD’S were sold at the celebration release. Her music is now being heard on local, national and international radio broadcasting stations.
There is no admission fee for any Sunday @ Two (2:00 p.m.) performance. Tickets are required due to limited seating and are available after 10 a.m. on the morning of the performance at the Information Desk.
