West Virginia's own Celtic music band - Mountain Thyme has performed songs and instrumental arrangements, aptly described as "Appalachian Celtic" in concert and festival venues since 1982.
Members of the band are: Pam Curry (vocals, bouzouki, octave mandolin, autoharp, and piano); Jan Carroll (vocals and silver and wooden flutes); Libby Musser (vocals, bass, tenor banjo and piano); and Linda Workman (vocals, guitar, djembe). The band will be joined by special guest fiddler, Cathy Grant.
Mountain Thyme has three CD recordings: A Smile at the Door, West Virginia Chose Me, and She Moved Through the Fair.
There is no admission fee for any Sunday @ Two (2:00 p.m.) performance. Tickets are required due to limited seating and are available after 10 a.m. on the morning of the performance at the Information Desk.
