The Ladies Philoptochos Society "Areti" of Wheeling have compiled classic Greek recipes (many brought over from the Motherland on scraps of paper) with others submitted by church members, friends, local celebrities and prominent Greek based eateries. In some cases, recipes have been modified to meet the demands of the hurry up American kitchen or the availability of ingredients seldom found on this side of the Mediterranean. The result is this cookbook full of over 600 delectable, time tested recipes.
