Too Country
Matt Jones is a Country Music singer/novice songwriter from the metropolis of Shady Spring, West Virginia. Like many singers, Matt began singing in his local church. That pursuit began at the ripe old age of 5 and would eventually instill a passion in his heart for creating and performing traditional country music. In the spring/summer of 2008, he was presented with the opportunity he have always dreamed of and hoped for. That opportunity allowed Matt to work with some of the most well-known and respected songwriters and musicians in Nashville while recording his debut album "Too Country". The album is a collection of traditional country music that he is so very proud of and honored to be able to perform. Many cuts from the album have personal meaning to Matt and the people in his life that mean so much to him. His sincere thanks and devotion to my family and friends who have most definitely kept him "grounded" through this experience. Throughout the making of this project, Matt have learned how miniscule a part an artist actually plays in his own success. There are so many people who are responsible for this project and to them, he is eternally grateful. Songs include Too Country, I Was Meant To Be Here and We All Go Home.
