Ragtime is an American musical genre which enjoyed its peak popularity between 1899 and 1918. It has had several periods of revival since then and is still being composed today. And pianist Lynn Wright is a master. Beginning with extensive formal training, he found his calling as an improvisatory pianist. As for ragtime, for ten years he played solo ragtime piano six nights a week at the Silver Dollar Sloon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
